IN100
This dataset consists of a series of sections through an IN100 sample, provided by Jack Schirra, of Pratt and Whitney in support of the DARPA AIM program. It was sectioned with a slice-and-view method with the Focused Ion Beam by Mike Uchic of AFRL. Area of each image is approx 30 x 30 microns, and spacing between consecutive images is 100 nm.
Pearlite
Digitized versions of legacy pearlitic steal micrographs.
Robomet
A beta-processed titanium alloy, courtesy of Dr. H. Fraser at The Ohio State University, acquired with a RoboMet automated serial sectioning instrument.
Phasefield Simulation
A Phasefield simulation data set produced Y. Wen and J. P. Simmons
at US Air Force Materials Laboratory and released under US Air
Force Public Affairs number "ASC-03-0534". The data set contains time steps 1, 10, 19, 28 and slices
0 through 63 (Inclusive). Each slice is a 256 x 256 sample area stored as 32 bit floating point
values. The full data set (available upon request) has all time steps (1 through 29), all slices (0-255) and
the full 256 x 256 area.
